If you look close, the mom and the younger daughter both have the same face, they both desire blue eyes, so wear blue eyeshadow, they are two little peas-in-a-pod. The other, older daughter, has true blue eye color, she is not a pea-in-the-pod, she is standing alone. She is her own person, this embarasses the dress maker, the other daughter will not cut her hair short, this upsets the dress maker, the other daughter wears toe rings, this disgusts the dress maker, the other daughter does not dress the right way, the dress maker does not love this daughter the same way............but that is ok, there are others who love the other daughter just for who she is.
