Nest Feathers and Twine - Formally Artist's Block Studio

The things that make a house a home and the stuff that holds is all together.

Years ago I started this blog with a mindset and goals that I have found have changed direction over time. I am excited to say that this blog has a new name.....Nest Feathers and Twine. I hope you come by and visit often. Feel free to get comfortable and kick off your shoes and join me on this journey of metamorphosis.

how to make your cat smile, a tutorial

ok, i don't even want to look to see how long i have been gone.

this arty girl has been busy, busy, busy.....and some more busy.

did you know that taking photos for etsy makes this girl cranky?   neither did the peeps that live here with me, or myself for that matter.

thank goodness i seem to have gotten over it really quickly and today went much smoother.

i have a ton, and i am probably not exaggerating, by much, of photos and stories to tell from our trip to illinois, just a quick jaunt across the river, and the balloon glow......lots of stuff in between too.

all of that will have to wait as i am on a mission to get the etsy shops up and going.

i have been spending my days photographing and on the computer writing up shop policies and editing photos.

as of this moment i am in my somewhat fluffy - comfy chair in the bedroom typing this because if i spend one more minute sitting on one of our hard kitchen chairs i fear i shall sprout a flaming red baboon butt.

my eyes can no longer focus on what stares back at me from the computer screen, so this message will be short and sweet.

i would like to share something that has caused me to break out in fits of giggles several times tonight, i am sure due to being slap happy from a brain that has turned to moosh, like a bowl of cornflakes left sitting in its bowl of milk too long.

so, as the title promised i would like to present my first tutorial......

HOW TO MAKE YOUR CAT SMILE

1.  take one kitty cat that if not sleeping would most likely claw you to shreds for doing the next step.

2.  Next, do this.......

3.  wah-laaaaa....you now have made your cat smile.

i will be back soon with lots of stuff to share with y'all as soon as
this arty girl has her ducks in a row and has found all of her marbles.

until next time....smooches.....mwah.

nighty-night.
