Nest Feathers and Twine - Formally Artist's Block Studio

The things that make a house a home and the stuff that holds is all together.

Years ago I started this blog with a mindset and goals that I have found have changed direction over time. I am excited to say that this blog has a new name.....Nest Feathers and Twine. I hope you come by and visit often. Feel free to get comfortable and kick off your shoes and join me on this journey of metamorphosis.

busy, busy, fun day!

well today was a blast! i worked on painting paper. it is so relaxing to just swirl and splash color. the january challenge for my yahoo group is to make something using colors you don't like or normally use. mine are reds and blues. the journal in blue is for the charm braclet round robin, which still needs some work, but most of the pieces have already been gathered. the red papier mache heart, that i picked up from redlead, will have something valentine's-y put on it in the next day or so. the red paper, which is watercolor paper and the blue is mulberry paper. i also worked on some green paper (some looked like moldy barf-ewwww) the green is suppose to be for my pocket doll atc.......don't know if my idea is going to work. i will have to see tomorrow.
