we are each of us angels.....

altered bottles.......
well, and you can't the the photo of the couple copies on transparency inside....hmmmm well, the dried hydrangeas from my garden look nice....i did these 2 altered bottles last year. i am still finding things all over the house that i have not yet put on my blog or picture trail. i so love having this digital camera!

still not sure about the ribbon coming through the heart.....i keep giving myself the giggles thinking it looks like the heart has ponytails......i will let it hang around the house for a day or two to see if the ribbon needs a 'hair cut'.....

is it done yet........?
i will have to look at it in the morning.....later in the morning....working toward the february challenge for my yahoo group......working outside your comfort zone. for me that would be grunge. is this grungy enought to be considered grunge? i don't know. working with red is also a challenge for me. the january challenge for my yahoo group was working with colors you don't like or normally work with. i have never been a huge fan of red....don't know why, can not come up with a good reason. i have always opted for pinks when celebrating valentines, making the excuse that there was no place for the color red in the color scheme of my home.....i am now finding red is fitting in just fine.

a closer view
it is 2 am, my brain function is on the 'barely there' setting right now......after looking at this photo i can see i need to do some adjusting and fluffing.......tomorrow........i am off to bed!this swag was inspired by becky and denise. i bought a 'wish' christmas swag from them at the saturday monday sale. i loved that swag so much, and this hall tree looked naked without one there so i just had to make one...........hmmmmm now should i make one for spring....summer........we will have to see what time brings.

art dolls
okay, okay, okay i am done playing with picasa........this is pretty exciting for me.....i am totally modern day equipment challenged! allergic to technology and then add blonde to that and yikes......
Studio Friday....on Saturday
playing in paint.....i am left handed in most things...so i played with the right hand which came in 'hand'y so i could use my left to snap the picture....working on painting a canvas for a valentine collage.

Moan-uh the cat
yup that is her name, moan-uh......she is very vocal and very camera shy. she does not like madalyn at all, she is a weird like all of us here in our household, she will only drink water in a dixie cup on the bathroom floor even though her food bowl is in the kitchen. she loves yogurt and as soon as she sees you with the container in hand she will drive you crazy until you share......

melvyn and molly........the che-wah-wahs. melvyn is the tan and white one. molly tan and black. both are sweeties, molly can be a cranky little ms thang though.....melvyn......lets just say he is not the brightest crayon in the box....the sharpest tool in the shed....the wheel is turnin' but the hampster is dead....he is the blonde of the dog world, but that makes him special
another art doll....this one
was done as part of a round robin.......her body is a cigar box, her head a glass jar that i put a piece of paper with a stamped face on inside, her arms antique forks, legs antique spoons, the rest was added by other artists......i forgot to take a pic of her inside.....there was neat stuff added in their too.....oh, and one artist filled her head with inspirational quotes.......

i did this piece a couple of months ago......and i love her. she sits on an antique plant stand in my living room.

this art doll was done only by me. my other art doll was the result of a round robin...( the dust all over should have been undone by me! oops.....).
the face on the doll is my great (maybe great great) grandmothers.....she and i looked identical as kids.
ohhh......and eye spy a little drumming angel that should have been put away with the christmas decorations.......

madalyn......the worlds biggest wimp
madalyn rose, our 150 + pound half lab half mastif wimp! she is a huge sweetie pie, and who could resist that face! she is cross-eyed.....and tried to get a photo of her looking at the camera....but she is afraid of it....like everything else!
