Nest Feathers and Twine - Formally Artist's Block Studio

The things that make a house a home and the stuff that holds is all together.

Years ago I started this blog with a mindset and goals that I have found have changed direction over time. I am excited to say that this blog has a new name.....Nest Feathers and Twine. I hope you come by and visit often. Feel free to get comfortable and kick off your shoes and join me on this journey of metamorphosis.

enough already

encased in an itchy blanket, my favorite one in the wash.   my feet stuffed into socks.   they feel constricted and restricted, claustrophobic and suffocated.  my toes prefer to wiggle in freedom out in the open.

i yearn for blooms and buds and birds and bare naked feet.

i want to turn my face up to the sky and feel the warmth of the sun on my sunscreen smathered cheeks.  i want to utter the words  'its getting hot in here.....'

i want the roses to bloom so i can stop to smell them.

i want butterflies to flutter-by and lightning bugs to light the sky

i want crickets and frogs to sing and orchestrate  in harmony while looking deep into the universe for that first shooting star,  laying next to my guy on soft feathery grass that still smells freshly mowed.

i want winter to go bye-bye.

If you have an "over the top"
Motorcycle Fairings swing (aka casting), you can see how you would break this pane of glass at the start of your down swing. By being aware of the pane of glass your hands will drop Asics Onitsuka Tiger down to your side during the down swing, maintaining your lag (aka the slot - illustrated beautifully by< align="left">Belstaff Jackets Hogan in the photo on the right).
four magic moves
You will be attacking the inside quadrant of the golf ball - a very powerful image to have for your golf swing.

Quote for the moment

"Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn."
