olive and pink....one of my favorites!
this set is mine, but i am assembling a near twin of this for sale.
it is sterling silver, swarvoski crystals, jade, opal, jasper, pearls, flower turquoise and a few other semi precious stones that are just not wanting to come to the surface of my brain at the moment.
the wire wrapping on these pieces is unimaginable. i wire wrapped beads for this piece and the piece to sell for 2 months!
i had a few friends who told me i was nuts for putting myself through such an ordeal......but this is the look i wanted and i was willing to wire wrap my fingers to nubby little stumps to get it! i am glad i chose to keep moving forward and not take their advice,as well intentioned as it was, to abandon the project plans for these pieces!
the man in the moon
i whipped this one up at the last minute to go with a yellow shirt, i realized i did not have any jewelry to go with.......made mom a pin with this same image i created using an 1800's copy of a photo in my collection, the sizzix machine and moon die cut. the papers i hand painted.
these two are allllll mine!
the necklace and bracelet are made of opal, turquoise, pearl, jasper, swarvoski crystals, sterling silver. lots of wire wrapping on these, but i love the look.
there is a bracelet and necklace made of the same materials a few pics down for sale!
this one is going to be up for sale
ohhhhh, i soooo love this piece. it is a vintage game piece that says ' a pound of candy' that has been artfully soldered in glass and some yummy candy colored beads.
i am working on a coordinating bracelet.
the bead work in the bottom of the necklace and on the bracelet have been wirewrapped.......my fingers are still throbbing......mmmm but it was worth it!
these will be for sale
this piece i love so much.....but it will be up for sale. it is a vintage game piece that reads 'a yard of calico' that has been soldered under glass, a vintage button that has been artfully soldered around the edges, vintage calico fabric that has also been artfully soldered under glass, and a vintage piece of fabric measuring tape that has also been artfully soldered under glass. it is all attached to a basemetal chain.
